The LA905-50-PRO II has been specially developed for night-vision scopes with image intensifier tubes with sufficient wavelength strength. Products currently supplied by Photonis (2nd generation) and 3rd generation GaAs photocathode tubes are ideal. Even highly sensitive game species such as deer cannot detect beams with a wavelength of 905 Nm. Large ranges are still possible despite such a high wavelength. When compared to the LA850-50-PRO, range achieved is app. 70% when using a 3rd gen. GaAs device and app. 80% when using a 2nd gen. Photonis device. In contrast, Russian-made 2nd generation night-vision scopes only achieve 40-50% of this range.
