One of the biggest advantages of the 360 Thermal Imaging Camera Mount is the ability to view images from a compatible thermal imaging camera directly on your tablet or smartphone. If your thermal imaging camera supports WiFi and a compatible app, you can wirelessly stream the live image to your mobile device.
Many modern thermal imaging cameras from brands such as HIKMICRO, Pulsar, Nocpix and ThermTec offer WiFi connectivity and dedicated mobile applications. Compatible HIKMICRO models can use the HIKMICRO Sight app, while supported Pulsar devices can connect through the Stream Vision app. Selected Nocpix and ThermTec models also support live image viewing on a smartphone or tablet.
This allows you to observe your surroundings comfortably from inside your vehicle while the thermal imaging camera remains mounted on the roof. Using the joystick, you can rotate the camera left or right and adjust its vertical angle within the 50-degree tilt range. Meanwhile, you can follow the thermal image directly on your tablet or smartphone.

Various thermal imaging binoculars can also be mounted using a suitable tripod adapter. This allows you to securely attach compatible binocular-style thermal imaging devices to the motorized mount.
Always ensure that your thermal imaging camera can be securely attached and that the total mounted weight does not exceed the maximum load capacity of 2.2 kg.
Adjustable Rotation Speed and Convenient Home Position
The motorized thermal imaging camera mount features 8 adjustable speed settings. These allow you to control how quickly the camera rotates horizontally or tilts vertically. For precise wildlife observation, you can select a slower speed to carefully scan fields, forest edges and other areas.
The mount also features programmable positioning functions. You can set a preferred viewing direction and return to this position using the remote control. The A/B positioning function also allows you to switch between two predefined viewing directions.
This is particularly useful when you regularly want to check specific areas without having to manually reposition the camera every time.

Positioning the thermal imaging camera on the roof provides a clearer panoramic view than observing through a vehicle window. This is especially useful when scanning open fields, grasslands and forest edges.
With the wireless joystick remote control, you can rotate and tilt the camera while remaining comfortably seated inside your vehicle. When combined with a compatible WiFi-enabled thermal imaging camera, you can follow the live thermal image directly on your tablet or smartphone.
For the best image stability, we recommend parking your vehicle on a firm, level surface. This helps keep the thermal imaging camera as stable as possible, allowing you to scan your surroundings smoothly and accurately.
Always check that the magnetic base is securely attached to the vehicle roof and that the thermal imaging camera is properly mounted before use.
Splash Resistant with Additional Rain Protection
The 360 Thermal Imaging Camera Mount is splash resistant and can withstand light rain and water splashes. This allows you to use the mount in slightly damp weather conditions.
In heavy rain, we recommend removing the thermal imaging camera mount from the vehicle roof. The mount is not designed for prolonged exposure to heavy rainfall.
A plastic protective cover is included to provide additional protection against moisture and rain. This cover is placed around the motorized pan tilt head itself, not over the thermal imaging camera or its lens. As a result, the camera lens remains unobstructed and the protective cover does not interfere directly with thermal image quality.
When using the protective cover, always make sure it is fitted correctly and does not obstruct the rotation or tilting movements of the mount. The cover provides additional weather protection but does not make the device completely waterproof.
