1280×1024 thermal riflescope with 75 mm lens and integrated laser rangefinder
The HIKMICRO Stellar SX75LR 4.0 is a thermal riflescope with a 1280×1024 sensor with 12 µm pixel pitch, a NETD of <12 mK and a 75 mm F1.2 lens. The base magnification is 3× and the field of view is 12.1° × 9.7°, which equals 21.2 × 17.0 meters at 100 meters. This gives you plenty of detail and overview when scanning fields and open terrain.
In practice, a sensor of 1280×1024 or higher lets you identify game well at shooting distance, from 100 to 200 meters. An integrated laser rangefinder up to 1,200 meters sits behind the lens, so you do not need a separate measuring device. The scope offers ballistic calculation and a virtual reticle. You view the image on a 1.03-inch AMOLED display of 2560×2560 with a brightness sensor.
You focus and zoom with the ring on the side of the scope. The SX75LR 4.0 is designed for mounting on a rail. Power comes from an internal battery and a replaceable 18650 battery, so you can carry a spare.
10 key features of the HIKMICRO Stellar SX75LR 4.0
- 1280×1024 sensor with 12 µm pixel pitch: plenty of thermal detail for assessing and identifying game at shooting distance.
- NETD <12 mK: high thermal sensitivity, so small temperature differences stay visible.
- 75 mm F1.2 lens: a large, fast lens for a detailed thermal image.
- 3× base magnification: a larger view of the game, with a field of view of 21.2 × 17.0 meters at 100 meters.
- Integrated laser rangefinder up to 1,200 meters: measures distance directly, without a separate device.
- Ballistic calculation with virtual reticle: provides ballistic information based on the data you enter.
- Image Pro 4.0 and Shutterless System (HSIS): image processing and a thermal image with fewer interruptions while scanning.
- Focus and zoom ring on the side: operation without changing your grip.
- Internal battery plus replaceable 18650 battery: with an operating time of 7 hours, you can bring a spare for longer sits.
- Recoil activation and IP67: suitable for use on a rifle and resistant to water and dust.
Operation, mounting and recording
