The European-made 12 µm / 640x480 pixel thermal imager provides a very sharp and high-contrast thermal image which is very important for better identification of animals, their limbs and even the smallest details, i.e. branches and leaves.
The powerful objective lens in combination with a professional 12 µm thermal image sensor offers exceptional detection capabilities.
A standard object 1.8 m high can be detected at a distance of 2300 m in complete darkness.
Krypton 2 attachments have a high impact resistance which allows them to be used on large caliber hunting weapons such as 9.3Ñ…64, .30-06, .300, .375. etc., as well as smooth-bore guns and airsoft.
Germanium F50/1.0 lenses have a high infrared transmittance in the LWIR range.

The Krypton 2 has a built-in VCR.
Krypton 2's internal memory can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos.

A choice of 8 color palettes allows the user to observe their field of view more effectively, allowing them to optimize the device for specific tasks and respond to changing observation conditions.
White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot are optimal for object detection, Rainbow and Ultramarine help to increase the chances of recognition and identification.
Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are best suited for long observation at night.
Built-in Wi-Fi connects the Krypton 2 to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application.
This opens up a wide range of options, including software updates for wireless devices, real-time image transfer from the device to the smartphone screen, social media publishing of photo and video content captured by the device, or transfer to messengers.
In addition, registered users receive 16 GB of cloud storage for photos and videos captured with the device.
